What states do you practice in?
At this time, we offer telepsychiatry appointments to residents of Oregon and Maryland, as well as individuals who are physically located in either state during the time of service. We are actively working to expand our reach, so we encourage you to check back regularly as we add more states to our service area.
What are your hours of operation?
Telepsychiatry Appointment Hours:
Appointments are available Thursday through Monday, from 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
In-person office visits are typically scheduled on weekends, depending on the provider’s availability. If you have any questions about our hours or do not see an available appointment time, please don’t hesitate to call or text us—we may still be able to accommodate your needs.

Do you perform talk therapy?
At this time, we do not offer appointments exclusively for psychotherapy. However, our providers incorporate key elements from evidence-based psychotherapy approaches—such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing—into the overall care we provide. As a result, you may see therapy-related billing codes reflected in your Explanation of Benefits for appointments.
Do you accept insurance?
Amity Mental Wellness accepts most major commercial insurance plans.
-
In Oregon, we are in-network with Aetna, Cigna, MODA, Regence, PacificSource, Providence, and Optum. We will soon be accepting Oregon Health Plan (OHP).
-
In Maryland, we accept Medicare, Aetna, Cigna, and Optum. We will soon be in-network with Tricare, CareFirst, and Johns Hopkins.
If we are not currently credentialed with your insurance provider, we encourage you to contact your insurance company to inquire about out-of-network benefits. Upon request, our licensed provider will gladly provide a detailed receipt or superbill that you may submit for potential reimbursement.
Do you accept self-pay?
Yes, but prior to scheduling an appointment, we will require a form of payment on file.
For self-paying clients, we accept all major credit and debit card payments. Unfortunately, we do not accept checks. Payment is due in full at the time of service. We will not issue refunds once we have rendered the service.
Self-pay fees
- Initial Visit (60 min): $300

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or require immediate assistance, we strongly encourage you to contact a crisis resource or visit your nearest emergency department.
Please keep this in mind when reaching out to us as a new client. While we strive to schedule appointments as promptly as possible, we appreciate your understanding regarding our limitations in urgent situations.
